I am a lifelong resident of the Galva-Bishop Hill-Cambridge area. After graduation from Galva High School I served in the United States Air Force and attended college. Married in 1969 , we moved to my wife’s family farm in 1973 and have raised our family and farmed there since then. Well acquainted in the Henry county and Knox county area, I have been involved in many community affairs. I have held positions at the township level and served on numerous school, church and ag committees. An avid golfer, I am a member of Lake Calhoun Country Club and have served on the board of directors and various committees there. I entered the real estate business in 1997 and have been a broker since 1999. The real estate business fits well with my farming operation and I stay abreast of small town property and farmland values. My background has made me aware of the needs of the rural community.
